Unadjusted traverse undertaken in 1929 and covering a 200-mile route from Gorei in western Abyssinia north-westwards towards Kurmuk in western Anglo-Egyptian Sudan to a width of approximately 15 miles. Portrays hydrology, indicative relief and form lines, roads and tracks, telephone lines, settlements, significant buildings, administrative boundaries, place names and the expedition route, and includes topographical notes.The sheets are numbered 1 and 2, and bear the designation 'O.R.
